Mold needs moisture and a suitable material on which to grow. Coastal humidity, condensation, plumbing leaks, water intrusion, and insufficient ventilation can support hidden mold growth. Once mold begins growing or is disturbed, microscopic spores and fragments will travel through the air and settle on surfaces throughout your home.

Construction dust does not create mold by itself. The greater concern is what happens when moisture is introduced. Coastal humidity, condensation, leaks, and water intrusion can dampen paper-faced drywall, wood, and accumulated organic dust. These materials can then provide the moisture and food source mold needs to grow, sometimes in hidden areas long before it becomes visible.

WHY LARRY CREATED THUROFLO
After building my own home, I continued finding construction dust even after two professional cleanings. When my four-year-old developed a dust-mite allergy, finding a better solution became personal.
After years of testing, I developed a proprietary process to remove the microscopic dust and pollutants traditional cleaning leaves behind. That process became ThuroFlo: an entirely new Home Clean Air Service with one mission - to help families create cleaner, healthier indoor environments.
